FAQ for original AG.exe with AutoScroll

What is NUPL for PG-DOS:
- an Editor to assign new units to countries
- NUPL is a WIN95 program that can be used to help modify the New Unit Purchase List of Panzer General 1-DOS version.
- first NUPL-Editor wrote Fred Chlanda.

What is NUPL for AG-Win:
- until now there was none NUPL for Allied general.
- so many players for such many years must play AG, e.g. Soviet union with only one available land transport,
- by using of Manual NUPL for Allied general ® , any skilled creator can change purchase manu under own decison,

Manual NUPL for Allied general ® provides unlimited abilities.
- Now you can reorganised Soviet purchase menu to have 5 land transports,
- Now you can add more tactical bombers for Italy,
- Now you can have more tanks for Poland (1939),
- Now you can add Tempest, Typhoon, Skua, Battle for U.K. and many more units for France, Czech, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, ......

Choose what you want. Now you can do anything.

Manual NUPL for Allied general ®

ES - equipment slot is situated in the PANZEQUP.eqp - Total nr. of ES 449

PS - purchase slot is situated in the AG.exe - Total nr. of PS 465

IC – icon slot is situated in the TILEART.dat - Total nr. of IS 256

Some of the BASIC RULES:

(a) 255,255 – if some class is unused (e.g. Fighter in theGreek) offset string is replaced by those 2 bytes.
(b) each PS –consisted from 2 bytes – e.g. 153, 000 (153 + 0 x 256 = 153 ...... ES nr.153 = AD Mk II SP)
(c) Starting offset address for purchase menu:
- ag.exe without AutoScroll -     ..................... 018 77 540
- ag.exe (v.1.2) with AutoScroll - ................... 018 83 310
(d) When inserting or deleting any PS, always check total number of bytes (TNB) in the AG. exe file !!

Known bugs

Only known bug (with no effect on the game) are corrupted designation of land transports. See picture below. (comment: by Manual NUPL were added another 2 transports for Germany - Ax Wagon and SdKfz 7)

Flipicon môže síce Importovať a Exportovať ikonky, ale len v rámci jedného TILEART.dat. Čo však v prípade ak máte ikonky roztrúsené medzi viacerými TILEART.dat a tieto chcete zlúčiť do jedného ?
Teda čo nabudúce ? Ak bude záujem, niečo o Importe a Exporte ikoniek medzi dvoma TILEART.dat.
